The Jessica Muir Gallery is a contemporary art & craft gallery situated in the centre of the village, run by artists Jessica Brown & Jean Muir. Lime Tree Gallery is located in Long Melford, Suffolk. We specialise in contemporary Fine Art and Glass, and hold regular exhibitions throughout the year, each one accompanied by a fully illustrated web catalogue. We have a particular love of contemporary Scottish artists, and we will always have a varied selection of their art on show. Chimney Mill Galleries
Set in the grounds of a former water mill on the river Lark set in the breckland country side.
Chimney Mill Galleries first opened its doors in 1976 to show the work of the Chimney Mill Group, four painters, two of whom (Audrey Blake and Ron Ronaldson) still exhibit with them today.
The gallery expanded whilst always maintaining its policy of only exhibiting work of a high standard and always a wide range of media and subject. Bury St Edmunds Gallery
Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery is situated in the historic Market Cross, a fine Grade I listed building restored in the Georgian period, with foundations dating back to 1583. It was renovated by the celebrated architect Robert Adam in the late 18th century, providing a remodelled theatre for the townspeople to enjoy . Indeed, performances of one sort or another have been taking place here ever since, not least when the Market Cross became home to the Art Gallery in 1972 and retaining its high ceilings, Georgian façade and elegant arched windows. It is lit by a pair of magnificent Venetian crystal chandeliers.
