Wood Sale and Fair
Now in its Twentieth year! A weekend for everyone to enjoy as woodcraft professionals and enthusiasts come together to demonstrate and sell their crafts. This is a rare opportunity to buy quality wood form the Ickworth Estate. Wood includes native and exotic species, milled and in the round. Also available is a live bands, locally brewed ales, pottery tent with raku firing, as well as plenty of local foods and produce, children’s activities and craft stalls.

Follow this Trail and step back in time. Walk in to a deserted medieval village, pass a Norman church and discover what lies behind the 18th century walled gardens.

Kool Kites for Kids
Come along and join our kite making workshop. Design and create a kite from recycled materials and then fly it in Ickworth Park.

Hallowe’en Horror
An evening of ghouls and ghosts at Ickworth. Terrifying tours of the shadowy state rooms and spooky stories outside by candlelight. Plus spookily haunting fire displays outside! All children must be accompanied by an adult. West Wing open for hot drinks, soup and homemade cakes. BBQ outside.

The Trees of Ickworth Tour & Lunch
In association with National Tree Week. Explore the history of Ickworth’s trees with our Head Forester, Head Gardener and the Trust’s Regional Archaeologist. The tour is followed by a scrumptious two-course hot buffet lunch.

The West Wing at Ickworth
Stunning contemporary visitor facilites in the West Wing, including restaurant specialising in high quality, locally sourced foods, and a boutique gift shop.

The West Wing provides an elegant setting for Weddings for 80 to 200 guests, and is also licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies. The impressive Gallery on the first floor of The West Wing overlooks the beautiful Italianate Gardens, and accommodates wedding ceremonies and sumptuous wedding breakfasts for up to 200 guests. The Court is a smaller room, adjacent to The Gallery, and is available for the bride and groom to use as an extra area for a crèche or quiet room. There are marquee areas for larger wedding receptions, and The Orangery and beautiful gardens are available for reception drinks. Inclusive wedding packages include room hire, arrival drinks, three-course wedding breakfast with wine and champagne toast, and use of the gardens for photography. The package also includes the services of a Toastmaster and all staffing, linen, crockery and cutlery, with the option of upgrading on wines & champagnes, canapés and coloured linen.
