This delightful B&B is a Listed 14th Century house in the centre of mediaeval Clare.
Our oak-beamed wattle & daub Garden Cottage is twin-bedded, en suite, with its own private access down the side of the house. It has its own sitting area, with TV, fridge, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Always popular, it is very cosy in winter, and delightful in summer, when the garden comes into its own.
Breakfast is served in the house between 7am and 9am.
Clare is an historic market town. The Castle, the Priory and Country Park are close by, with fine river walks. There are excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance for lunches and evening meals. Full of individual corner shops, including butcher, hardware store, art gallery, gift shops - and no shortage of antique shops and ancient buildings to visit.
Going towards Cambridge from the centre of Clare, we are 150 yards down Nethergate Street on the right hand side. Look out for the red Bed & Breakfast signs on the front and side of the house.
It is a great help if we know what time to expect you and we very much look forward to meeting you.
