Welcome to Invitation to View, featuring a record 54 houses and gardens for you to admire and explore throughout East Anglia.
Our formula – whereby single visitors combine to make up a group that then visits a house by appointment – is unique in Britain (maybe even the world) but highly popular and effective. New visitors join us every year while long-term fans are known to notch up visits to 20 or more houses. Most visits are hosted by the owners themselves, each one a character with unique insights into the properties - whether it’s the ghosts or the family scandals. You can ask about paint colours, antiques, portraits, garden plants and even rising damp!
Most of the properties are family houses, so we kindly ask you to book early (and book often). On our side, we try to co-ordinate dates so you can see two in a day and more in a week. Each house offers refreshments and some do lunch.

Here is just a taster of some of the wonderful properties available to view in Suffolk:
Euson Hall, Suffolk
Euston Hall, 3 miles south of Thetford and 12 miles north of Bury St. Edmunds, has belonged to the Dukes of Grafton for over 300 years, and is currently lived in by the eleventh Duke. The Hall is home to the famous collection of paintings of the Court of Charles II, by Van Dyck, Lely and Kneller and Mares and Foals by Stubbs.
Haughley House, Suffolk
Haughley House (pictured top left) is a late medieval manor, situated just outside the ruined Norman Castle in the conservation area of the village of Haughley. The house has a priest hole in one of the chimneys and two passages (now sealed off), one of which leads to the church, and manorial documents on display.
Linden House, Suffolk
Linden House (pictured left, third image down) in Eye is a country town house dating from the 16th Century, when it was a timbered farmhouse. It was restored in 1780 to become the town house it is today. The entrance hall, staircase and box doorframes are the highlights of the house, and one of the TV series of Agatha Christie's 'Miss Marple' was filmed there.
