is based in the picturesque village of Kersey which will provide fertile 'hunting' ground for the high quality Bird and Wildlife Photography Tuition for Beginners and Intermediate level photographers at the Studio.
You will have exclusive access to the Studio's Hides, which include Kingfisher, Badger, Tawny Owl and Woodland Hides. Field Trips are also organised on a regular basis e.g. to photograph Red Kites and Water Voles. All Courses are modular in design & consists of a series of practical Workshops so you can select the level most appropriate for you, and get hands on experience. Her studio is nestled in the pastoral countryside of Suffolk, close to Gainsborough’s birthplace, and here she offers one to one one or two day classes for complete beginners or experienced glass blowers looking to indulge your skills. Her tuition takes place in a relaxed studio environment & you can learn Glass Fusing, Glass Casting as well as one day fusing taster courses

The Photography and Watercolour/Oil Painting courses offered by The Pin Mill Studio
will help you try new creative outlets if you're a beginner or develop your skills if you're familiar with the basics. Both day & residential courses are provided by award-winning photographer Anthony Cullen, BP Portrait Award winning artist Annabel Mednick and Central St. Martin trained artist Alan Bridges. Course handouts will also be available and each day finishes with a delicious 2 course meal and drinks at the famous Butt and Oyster Inn. At Assington Mill you'll find a range of fantastic country courses from straw bale building, to water divining and gilding. Over 50 different short rural skills and crafts courses are on offer throughout the year so you're bound to find the right one for you - whether that's beekeeping for beginners, story telling or upholstery. The courses are held in East Anglia's first straw bale building (pictured above), on a small 70 acre farm in one of Suffolk's beautiful secret valleys.
