Days Out in Ipswich

Ipswich is a blend of historical and modern and you will find many a friendly local and fellow tourist on your visit.

There are plenty of things to do in Ipswich, including taking a walk beside the marina - or even taking a boat out! - or the river, and shopping in an abundance of shops including high street names plus independently-owned, boutique businesses selling all sorts of gifts, jewellery, accessories and clothes.

If you are on a family day out with the kids, you can meet the animals at Jimmy's Farm, Ipswich and learn all about farm-life. Children can go wild in the adventure playground while mum and dad browse in the farm shop.



If you are a thrill-seeking family you can race around the indoor tracks at Anglia Indoor Karting, Ipswich! There is Kubz Karting for 5-7 year olds in addition to the full-size racing circuit.



Another exciting day out can be had at Suffolk Leisure Park, Ipswich, where you can try your hand at skiing, tobogganing , rope and wall-climbing, or a round of golf on the Ipswich Golf Range.



Fans of golf can also visit Fynn Valley Golf Club, Ipswich, to play a round or two on their 18 and 9 hole golf courses, along with practice greens & bunker plus expert tuition, should you need it.
