One of Suffolk's most popular Days Out is Jimmys Farm near Ipswich. Families can learn about farming, food and nature whilst having a ton of fun!
There is a brilliant adventure playground, two crazy areas, one for the toddlers and another for those who are a bit more grown up. Climb like monkeys, slalom like snakes and go crazy on the zip wire! Don't miss the Hobbit House, animal petting and den building. And there is of course a fantastic restaurant serving excellent dishes from the best regional ingredients (many from the farm itself), and a farm shop and butchery so you can take some goodies home with you. You can bring the family pooch along too, as long as they are kept on a lead. Jimmy's Farm have lots of exciting events throughout the year, click on their link above to see what's coming up next.

Guided Tours of the National Stud make for a fascinating trip for all, especially little girls who love ponies! Set amongst acres and acres of prime Suffolk land, shared with Newmarket Racecourses, The National Stud is a unique attraction. Before your tour say hello to the popular minature Shetland ponies. Visit the Stallion unit. See the foaling unit. Lots to see and Do! For all ages.
