One of our most popular attractions is Jimmys Farm which provides a great day out for children and adults alike. The farm is full of things to do including a nature trail, an adventure playground, a woodland walk, a farm shop and a cafe. There are gardens galore including a herb garden, a vegetable garden and a butterfly house and garden. Entry into the farm is free, the only charges are for the nature trail which is £3.50 for adult and £2.50 for children, or £13 for a Family Day Out ticket.


Stonham Barns is a great day out in the heart of the Suffolk Countryside. Situated on the A1120 east of Stowmarket, Stonham Barns offers a variety of retail shops and leisure facilities such as Fishing Lakes, Fit Club, Garden Centre and much, much more to ensure you enjoy your visit with us!
Year round, admission to the complex is free and there is free parking.

For a Sunny Day Out, come along to Southwold Pier.



Southwold Pier attracts thousands of visitors making it one of Suffolk's greatest attractions and has been awarded the prestigious title of 'Best Tourism Experience’

This is a family-run, privately owned Pier open every day of the year (except Christmas Day).

There are three places to eat and drink plus a traditional amusement arcade, an arcade full of handbuilt, unique machines that will make you laugh, a gift shop, a life-style store and a beach shop if you come unprepared for a day at the seaside.

Guided Tours of the National Stud make for a fascinating trip for all. Set amongst acres and acres of prime Suffolk land, shared with Newmarket Racecourses, The National Stud is a unique attraction. Before your tour say hello to the popular minature Shetland ponies. Visit the Stallion unit. See the foaling unit. Lots to see and Do! For all ages



Another lovely option is to head to Flatford, on the beautiful river Stour, the birthplace of
Constable. From here you can visit 'Flatford Boats' where you can hire a rowing boat which is one of the best ways to take in the countryside and views, a really leisurely way to spend the day and to meet the ducks and swans on their own territory!

Boats are available from half an hour hire but there is really no limit on how long you can stay on the river - people have booked boats for 8 hour slots before now! One of the most popular itineraries is to row up to Dedham. There is a dedicated landing stage here where you can moor the boat and head into Dedham for some lunch or maybe an ice cream. The river’s gentle current will make your return trip easy as it helps you back to Flatford. If you have your dog travelling with you then don’t worry - they are welcome on board the boats! For an action packed Day Out in Suffolk head to
Go Ape in Thetford Forest , the UK's No1 Forest Adventure. There's lots to see and do for all ages including Go Ape Tree Top Adventure where you can take to the trees and speed down zip slides! Clay pigeon shooting is also an activity that many children will love to have a go at and there are a number of places in the county that provide children’s tuition.

Junior shooters are welcome for tuition at Fulton’s Shooting which is situated at Lakenheath Clay Target Shooting. You can take part in a taster session for £40 per person with discounts available or families.
