The ship was discovered in 1938 along with an iconic warrior's helmet & shield, plus gold and silver treasures. These items are on display at the site and the exhibition tells the compelling story of Anglo-Saxon warriors, treasure and kings, with a full-size reconstruction of the burial chamber.
