An afternoon out for all the family. Come and pet the farm animals, have a go at a variety of rural crafts, show your dog in our fun dog show and marvel at the skills of the dog agility. Talk to the local farmer and take a close up view of farm equipment you normally see only in the distance and have a go at milling grain. Enjoy watching the events in the central arena and join in with the egg throwing and classic children's games and races. Whilst waiting for the magic show the children can have a go at the traditional village fete games, fairground ride, fun play equipment, and make their very own mosaic to take home. And for those who have surplus energy come and bounce on the bouncy castle! Exhausted parents and carers can refresh themselves at the food hall; beer, wine and soft drinks to wash down burgers or hotdogs. (Vegetarian options also available). For the more refined relax with tea and cake or scones, jam & cream. Finish off with ice cream and Pimms...

The Elveden Country Show will be bringing in many new and exciting attraction zones this year from amazing Horse and Motorbike Stunts to the wonderful World of Birds demonstrations with the main ring packed daily. We will again be supporting small producers and adding to our Food and Drink Markets, the Classic British Bake Off and the fabulous Celebrity Chef Alan Coxon who can be seen on television regularly. Throughout the day there are many exciting cookery demonstrations and talk area’s packed full of interesting talks. We are very excited about our Rural Crafters, local and handmade with so many interesting demonstrations. As well as all of this, there will be lots for the children to do and participate in from our Petting Farm, Punch and Judy, Archery, Small Aircraft flying and let’s not forget the Amazing Reptiles and much much more. New this year there will be a large Living History area which will suit Elveden Estate beautifully. The Show with something for everybody. There will also be 8 bands playing daily. We are delighted to have some pretty amazing shopping avenues this year as well. The Festival of Dogs will be there again this year with many new and exciting things. With over 25 classes per day raising money for Charity which you can enter without registering as well as Dog Agility and two main rings, so much for all our four legged friends to do and participate in. The show will host live demonstrations across five rings which will have an array of interesting, different and fun displays, including performances by many professionals, celebrities, trainers and experts.

The English National Sheepdog Trials are coming to Suffolk for the first time ever with 150 top dogs and their handlers in the beautiful parkland setting of Haughley Park, near Stowmarket. Alongside them will be Suffolk on Show, a celebration of what's on offer in the county, including local food stalls, the Suffolk Baa, rural businesses and demonstrations of countryside crafts and skills.
£10 in advance, £12 on the day. Children under 16, dogs on leads, and parking, are free.
