This delightful period B&B is located in the centre of Earl Soham, a pretty village situated on the A1120 between Stowmarket on the A14 and Yoxford on the A12.
The property originates from the 16th Century with some 18th Century 'modernisation' and 21st Century facilities. It provides an excellent base from which to explore Suffolk.
Jennifer and David Baker offer superior bed and breakfast accommodation, and are the proud recipients of the VisitBitain Four Star Silver Award. We have also received the coveted enjoyEngland Breakfast Award.
Bridge House offers two double and one twin en-suite bedrooms. Single travellers are welcome, with a small Single Supplement payable.
Guests have use of our attractive dining room, where our delicious breakfasts are served. Evening meals are usually available by prior arrangement, served in the dining room or in our secluded walled garden during warm weather. All our meals are freshly prepared daily and are subject to regular changes - please click on the 'Visit Website' link above to view a sample menu.
As well as evening meals, packed lunches and afternoon teas are also available by arrangement.
The village, a large part of which is a designated conservation area, has a medieval church, the 'Victoria' pub which brews its own beers, a shop and many old houses and cottages, all set in delightful surroundings. Bridge House is three miles from the small town of Framlingham with its historic castle, church and market square and is within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage Coast and its many attractions.
Due to the age and construction of the house, we regret that the property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
