Join us during the Easter holidays for lots of family fun!
Meet the orphan lambs, and take part in lamb feeding at 12pm and 2pm (Sunday 1st – Sunday 8th April).
We’ll also have Taff, the museum sheepdog, training at the museum at 1pm. Come along and watch Taff’s progress as Estate Manager Paul puts him through his paces.
And throughout the entire Spring break we’ll have our annual Easter Trail, with the Little Red Hen trail (30th March – 15th April) that takes you around the museum site and ends with a prize!

Tudor Eastertide - 100 Tudors about the manor, under cover and in the grounds, celebrating Easter Tudor-style.
The Impossible Easter Quiz – attempt our infamous impossible Quiz challenge for the whole family, for a chance to win a huge chocolate egg.
House Open - view the Hall (some rooms downstairs will contain Tudors!).
Gardens Open - spring bulbs and blossom festoon over 10 acres of garden, moats, ponds and woodland. Breathtaking.
Childrens' Easter Egg Trail - find all the wooden eggs and crack the code to win a prize.
Family Fun Trails – join the Storybook Trail in the Gardens and the Heffalump Hunt down on the Farm.
On the Farm - this year's lambs, chicks and piglets join the sheep, cows, pigs, goats and horses.
All of our activities will go on, whatever the weather, and your visit can certainly fill a whole day. Come early and stay for the day, there is so much to see and do - a visit to a Kentwell event really is a whole Day Out!
We'll also be serving delicious lunches, teas and snacks in our Stableyard area.
The Bakehouse will be very busy baking hot cross buns (donations for which go to Macmillan Cancer Support). The Cooks in the Tudor Kitchen create a big feast for the Gentlefolk for Easter Sunday. Visit the Needlewomen and hang something on their Trinity Tree and discuss the politics and news of the times with the Gentlefolk. All around the manor 16th Century life will be continuing as usual. Throughout the day there are many exciting cookery demonstrations and talk areas packed full of interesting talks. We are very excited about our Rural Crafters and local and handmade with so many interesting demonstrations. As well as all of this, there will be lots for the children to do and participate in from our Petting Farm, Punch and Judy, Archery, Small Aircraft flying and let's not forget the Amazing Reptiles and much much more. New this year there will be a large Living History area are which will fit in really well with Fram Castle as a backdrop. The Show with something for everybody. 8 bands playing daily.
The FESTIVALS OF DOGS will be there again this year with many new and exciting things. With over 25 classes per day raising money for Charity which you can enter without registering as well as Dog Agility and two main rings, so much for all our four legged friends to do and participate in.
Live demonstrations across five rings which will have an array of interesting,
different and fun displays, including performances by many professionals, celebrities, trainers and experts.
