A small, intimate restaurant in the centre of Eye, LINDSAY HOUSE is run by it's chef/owner and wife. Dishes are cooked in-house from the best of locally-produced ingredients.

Warm Crispy Duck Salad (£6.75/£13.50)
Shredded duck, tossed in our own sweet Chinese dressing, and served on a crunchy vegetable salad.

Pan-sauteed Gambas (£7.50/£15)
Whole shell-on large prawns, sauteed in butter with a hint of garlic

Main Courses: (served with vegetables or salad)

Wild Mushroom Risotto (£12.75)
Creamy Arborio Rice plumped with white wine. and cooked with a selection of wild mushrooms. Enhanced with Parmesan shavings.

Scottish Scampi Tails (£16.50)
Sauteed in Drambuie & finished with cream for a
special Scottish treat! Served with rice.

Thai Chicken Curry (£11.75)
A mild green curry, cooked with the traditional Thai spices, served with fragrant Rice.

Local Pheasant, traditionally casseroled with Bacon & Red Wine (£13.95)

Local Rabbit (£13.95)
Boned & fricassed with Mustard, White Wine & Suffolk Gammon Lardons.

Fillet Steak with Madeira Jus (£18.75)
The tenderest cut of local fillet steak with a rich smooth sauce.

stuffed with sun-blushed tomatoes and smoked cheese, and topped with a light veloute sauce.

Filled with cod, un-dyed smoked haddock, salmon and crayfish, and topped with grilled cheese.

Pork, Apple & Cider Pie (£10.50)
served with Braised Red Cabbage

Sunday Roast Beef (every Sunday) (£8.25)

There is also a lovely selection of homemade desserts - and homemade ice-cream!

A la carte menu and daily specials are served on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings from 6.30 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes from noon.
