Stark Naked Fresh Pestos is THE home of fresh pesto.

The Starke family have been growing herbs for over 100 years!

To date we grow 8000 tons of herbs per year! That's right - you read it right;

We are the largest parsley growers in Europe, and the biggest herb producers in the UK!

So we know our stuff and are very passionate about our herbs. We have never, ever produced any products with unnatural preservatives, colourings, additives, loads of salt, acetic acid, bulking out agents or synthetics. We simply produce foods with absolutely no funny business whatsoever.

We may have had to stay small for a while doing this, but we knew consumers would demand it.

Stark Naked started in 2000 creating pure pestos. The Company was formed by Victoria Starke in response to a growing demand for fresh pestos that are 100% natural, pure and yummy.

Since then we have won numerous Awards, including two golds from Great Taste, and a Q mark award. We've been on telly, in the papers, here, there and everywhere, telling anyone who will listen about our great pestos.

Freshness is guaranteed as the herb house is less than 20 feet away from the intake of the freshly harvested herbs. So from the time the herbs are chopped it can be as little as 15 minutes until they are being blended to produce our Stark Naked Fresh Pestos. We use English herbs (when they are in season) which are grown within a 20 mile radius of the farm in Suffolk.

So that we can bring you yummy fresh pestos all year ‘even out of season’, we sometimes buy herbs from Europe; they get more sunshine than us and their farmers are just as friendly. Don't worry though because we always state where our herbs are from on our packs! We grow our own herbs and also have a dozen different farmers contracted to grow for us.
