Families can hire cosy brick bungalows, luxury pine lodges and modern static caravans from Broadland Holiday Village, Lowestoft! There is an indoor pool on-site, and Broadland is close to sandy beaches and many attractions such as Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park.

The Black Lion, Long Melford, is a lovely, welcoming village inn with accommodation. The B&B Family Room offers a connected second bedroom complete with bunk beds, ideal for children aged 10 and under. Children sleeping in the family room are charged at £37 per night per child inclusive of breakfast.

Kids will love staying at Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm, Ipswich, not least because of all the friendly farm animals they can meet! Baylham House offers self-contained, self-catering accommodation within the Annexe, part of the old farmhouse, which sleeps 4 adults plus a cot. There is a TV, CD player, fridge freezer, washing machine/dryer, access to the garden, and a barbecue. If you and the kids want to join in on the farm you will be most welcome!

There are two great Family Room options available at Sweffling Hall Farm, Saxmundham. The first is a B&B option within the 16th Century farmhouse. Single beds are charged at an additional £15 per child per night. Especially large families could hire all three of the B&B rooms, accommodating up to 8 people in total, and special arrangements can be made for all 8 guests to dine together on one table. The second option is self-catering at Bramble Cottage, a converted cart shed on the Farm, which has a large family-sized kitchen and bathroom.

Old Hall Farm Cottages, Halesworth, is set in the beautiful Blyth Valley and offers 3 self-catering cottages, two of which sleep up to 6. Of special interest to families, Old Hall also boasts an indoor heated swimming pool (please click on the link above for availability dates), stables, a separate Games Barn with table tennis, giant draughts, a pool table and an indoor astro-turf pitch for football, hockey or tennis. In-house catering, babysitting and beauty treatments can all be organised by prior arrangement, too!

Field End B&B, Leiston, is fully prepared for families with its Family Room being located directly above the lounge/dining room area which is equipped with a baby-monitor. Well behaved children from the age of 6 months and up are welcome, and a high chair & camping cot are available. The family room has one double and one single bed with space for a quality Z bed or cot for children. Children under 12 years are charged half the single price when sharing other rooms with an adult.

Days Inn Haverhill offers great value for money, and has 8 family rooms, all of which have a full size bath, shower and roll-away bed. There are a number of interconnecting king size, standard and twin rooms especially for larger families. Cots are available at no charge but must be booked in advance.

The Garden Room at Foals Grange, Wilby, is an annexe to the main house, with its own private access. Included is an en suite kingsize bedroom and a sitting area, in which a sofa bed can sleep two children comfortably. Breakfast in the main house is included, and the Grange's friendly pony, Merlin, is on-hand to entertain the children!

For an unusual stay, a family of up to 4 can hire Static Barge Twee Gebroeders, a vintage 1897 Dutch sailing barge available as self-catering accommodation. Make use of the family adventure canoe - this will be an experience the kids will never forget!

The Grain House, Clare, is a very spacious, well-equipped house available for self catering or B&B hire. It can sleep 6+2, and there is parking available for at least 4 cars. There is a Games Room containing table tennis, table football, darts and children’s snooker table available plus a large, secluded garden.
