Sunday 19 June - FRISTON OPEN GARDENS
11.30am and 5.30pm
Friston Village

FRISTON OPEN GARDENS

This popular annual event is enjoyed as much by those opening their gardens, since it is the opportunity to meet new visitors and 'old friends' who return regularly for a chat and to 'monitor progress', and how some of we less serious gardeners are coping!

There is much to enjoy thanks to the various talents and hospitality of those who kindly open their gardens – gardens large and small, including some hidden gems not seen from the roads; avid gardeners and happy amateurs – we are all glad to see you, and one garden is known to offer wine!

The village is close to Snape, on the road between Saxmundham and Aldeburgh. Park the car on the village green where you can collect your tickets, only £4 each to visit all the gardens, and take your time strolling around and lingering; admiring the gardens; the Church which will be open and enjoy the views; stopping off for refreshments in the village hall where visitors happily exchange their experiences of the gardens.
