Great Value Days Out in Suffolk

Getting to Suffolk has never been easier - or cheaper - and there are a great many budget things to do when you arrive!

Coach travel is a great option for journeying on a budget. National Express coaches stop at many places across the county, such as Ipswich, Felixstowe, Sudbury and Newmarket, to name just a few. They also run a ‘Funfares’ promotion on which you can travel for just £1, and Cambridge is one of the destinations included. If you travel frequently it is also worth checking out their coach card schemes.

The train is another easy and cost effective way to travel both to and within Suffolk. Again, there are deals that can cut the cost even further. The Anglia Plus railcard includes travel on most National Express, East Midlands trains and First Capital Connect services and, on most, you can take your bike for no extra charge. There are options for travel on one day, three consecutive days and seven consecutive days.

More information can be found at: www.nationalrail.co.uk

Another great deal on travel to Suffolk is the 4 travel 2 pay scheme. This includes trains to places including Lowestoft, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Lakenheath and Bury St Edmunds.

You can find out more at: www.groupsave.co.uk

Once you’ve arrived in Suffolk you’ll find that there is a lot to do that costs very little or is completely free. The biggest draw to the area has to be the marvellous countryside and nature, and there are so many different ways to enjoy it.

A fantastic day out for families and individuals alike can be had at RSPB Suffolk.
