Corporate Entertainment

As all of our past clients will remember, The Cooking Experience Cooking Sessions are based on Fun, Team-Building, Interaction, Hands-On and Inspiration - our most important keywords. Mark, Annie and the team are experienced in this field (since 2002) and can guarantee a really exciting session, which takes people out of their “Office Bubble” into our space for the day.

We also can do cooking demonstrations which can be followed by Hands-On sessions or just be demonstrations followed by a meal with wine.

Here are some ideas for you - -

Themed Days
Italian, Indian, Oriental, French, Seafood many others. Mark David demonstrates, you then produce the food and eat it washed down with wine.

Product Launches
The Cooking Experience in Hadleigh provides the perfect venue to launch a new product or service and combine it with a cooking demonstration or a Hands-On cooking session.

Ready, Steady, Cook!
Tried and tested and very popular. If the session is based around producing a meal, the main course can be ad lib and each team would receive a bag with some core ingredients, and they will be given a set time to produce a dish with accompaniments for the main course. We will provide a comprehensive store of ingredients, including fresh veg and herbs, dairy and dry store including spices.

We have a venue in London which is The Knightsbridge Aga Shop, near Harrods which boasts a wonderful showroom with a generous space for up to 15 people doing a Hands-On Cooking Session. Well lit, and fully air-conditioned, this venue is ideal for the smaller groups and well situated.

Of course, we can come to you, all we need is either an empty room with 13 amp power points, and nearby water supply, or a hotel conference room or similar with the same water and electricity requirements. In the summer, we can operate within a marquee. Recent clients using these facilities include Microsoft UK and Proctor and Gamble.

In Suffolk, we now have a marquee in the garden at the rear of The Cooking Experience which enables us to take up to 25 people for a Hands-On Cooking Session during the warmer months. We also have a second kitchen which creates more space, complete with ovens and portable induction hobs.

The Cooking Experience is ideal for any private party. The venue is totally yours (no strangers!). The whole of our ground floor comprising 2 kitchens, a comfy conservatory and outside patio and garden is at your disposal. Mark and Annie David live on the premises and so the ambience is cosy and homely. We can take up to 30 (summer) or 20 (winter). The marquee and patio with barbecues provides the ideal location for a Knees Up!The group can be split into teams and each team prepares the meal which we all sit down to eat, served by the Cooking Experience team. Wine flows (all included).

We bake bread, toss pancakes, make pasta and do a "Ready Steady Cook" style main course perhaps.

If you don’t want Hands-On we can rustle up a chef or two to demonstrate and then cook your meal for you.

In any event, your day/evening is bespoke and you decide what you want to do.
