The Railway Station
Halesworth & District Museum
Halesworth Museum is housed in the Victorian Railway Station & on view are the results of the 20 years of volunteers work collecting and researching the history of this fascinating part of Suffolk. You'll find displays that take you back 10,000 years, from the earliest settlers in the Blyth Valley to the busy hub of malting, brewing and agriculture which was Halesworth in Victorian times.
Being located in the Railway Station, there is a special emphasis on the railway with its unique moveable platforms. In the Study Corner of the Museum theres research material for those interested in exploring local social or their family history in the area, as well as collections of historical photographs.
