Emperor Afternoon Tea
We have brought a new dimension to the British tradition of afternoon tea with the introduction of our indulgent Emperor Swan Afternoon Tea. Along with other Swan tea menus, it’s served on delicate, antique porcelain in front of a roaring log fire bringing people together for a refined, convivial occasion, just like in times gone by.
£21.50 per person.

An Evening with Moet & Chandon - Friday 27th January 2012
We welcome Mark Thomson from Moet Hennessey who will showcase a variety of exciting Champagnes, including the Vintage 2002 Brut and Vintage 2002 Rose. The evening will commence at 7:30pm with Champagne & Canapés, followed by a 4 course dinner with matching Champagne at 8pm, prepared by our Head Chef Justin Kett.
Tickets are now available at £79.00 per person
Why not stay overnight and take advantage of our special accommodation rate from £130.00, inclusive of Breakfast & VAT. Pre-bookings are essential.

Nestling in the Suffolk countryside, between Bury St. Edmunds and Sudbury, is The Swan Hotel in Lavenham, perhaps one of England's most iconic hotels.

The Swan dates back to the 15th Century when it played a key role in Lavenham's wool trade. Today it is a quintessential English country hotel and restaurant, proud of its achievement of an AA four star 82% rating and two AA Rosettes. Ancient oak beams and inglenook fireplaces blend beautifully with rich furnishings and fabrics to create the perfect ambiance for rest and relaxation. The historic Old Bar boasts a wonderful collection of memorabilia, including a wall signed by British and American airmen stationed at Lavenham Airfield during World War II.

The Swan is a wonderful place in which to celebrate a variety of special occasions, including romantic weddings, christenings and family get-togethers. It is also a unique venue for seminars, meetings and conferences, where 15th century inspiration combines with 21st Century innovation.
