This stunning National Trust property is the family home of the Hyde Parker's who lovingly restored Melford Hall after it was partially destroyed by fire in 1942.
Beatrix Potter was a cousin of the Hyde Parkers so you'll find plenty of memorabilia as well as a fine collections of furniture and porcelain. We also organise regular Teddy Bear picnics in the grounds in her honour.
The relaxing garden includes specimen trees and a Seventeenth Century Banqueting House. There is also a lovely 1 mile Park Walk that visitors can enjoy. Click thorugh to Visit Website now to find our opening times and cafe opening times.
