A visit to the regions biggest and best theme park is never a miss. Pleasurewood Hills has been offering the very the best of family entertainment for many years and actually celebrated their 25th Anniversary in 2008. This 50-acre park is just 10 minutes south of Gt. Yarmouth and only 5 minutes north of Lowestoft, Pleasurewood Hills has all the ingredients for a great day out and really does have something for all members of the family (whether young or just young at heart).

Pleasurewood’s latest ride is Wipeout… the tallest, fastest and most extreme rollercoaster in the East of England. Passengers are launched along 900feet of twisted steel at speeds touching 50mph and pulling over 5G’s as they hurtle through 3 inversions forwards and then backwards!

From adrenalin-fuelled white-knuckle thrill rides and coasters like Enigma, Wizzy Dizzy and Thunder Struck to white-water family favourites that are guaranteed to ‘cool you off’ including Mellow Yellow and the Wave Breaker. There’s even a great selection of fun rides for the smallest of adventurers. Be sure to explore the heart of the park – ‘Main Street’ and it’s unique, interactive maritime theme!

You’ll come for the rides and you’ll stay for the shows…prepare to be entertained with a range of first class shows including the awesome antics of the Sea Lion’s, the hilarious Parrots and the breathtaking Circus Tango spectacular.

When the action gets too much, take a more leisurely ride on the alpine chairlift or jump aboard one of the two railways that weave their way through the park. Alternatively, enjoy the great range of restaurants and shops where visitors can sample an excellent choice of hot and cold food and drinks.
