With one part of the site adjacent to the beach and the other enclosed by willow and shrubs, there's a pitch to suit all tastes. Early summer the foreshore is a riot of colour with wild flowers, including the rare Yellow Poppy.
Although Kessingland beach is shingle, nearby Lowestoft has a sandy beach with the Blue Flag and lifeguards. Africa Alive is a short distance from the site. Lowestoft airshow takes place each summer. Charming Southwold is a few miles away (where the filming of Iris took place).
For thrills take the children to Pleasure Wood Hills Theme Park, take a day boat on The Broads, go sea or river fishing and bird watching at Minismere or watch power boat racing on Oulton Broad. This site has something for everyone.
Important InformationEarliest arrival 12 noon , latest arrival 8pm. Beachside pitches cannot be pre-booked.
