6th May - BECCLES ANTIQUES STREET MARKET at BACCLES TOWN CENTRE
08.00-16.30
The first of the two Beccles Antiques Street Markets held in the centre of Beccles will take place on Sunday 6th May, Bank Holiday weekend (the second being on 2nd September). From its launch in 2009 this event has become an established date in the antique dealers and collectors calendar. The market boasts a varied and interesting collection of both general and specialist dealers selling a wide range of antiques and collectables including furniture, silver, china, linen, jewellery, books, clocks, retro and vintage design and decorative items. The dealers are experts in their field and are quite happy to share their knowledge and expertise with collectors. In fact it is the great selection of antiques on offer that make this market so successful and creates a wonderful atmosphere that is much commented on.
Many of the local shops and restaurants are open that day and first class catering is incorporated into the market; including a Suffolk Hog Roast, Local Ice Cream, Coffee and even a Beer Tent for those in need of liquid refreshment after a busy day buying. Plenty of parking and well signposted. If you haven’t been before you really should give it a visit and experience the pleasure of a busy outdoor specialist market and the wonderful town of Beccles.
