Double MOBO Award Winning Saxophonist YolanDa Brown brings some sunshine to Bury St Edmunds with a special set titled ''Reggae Love Songs''.

Join her on an infectious journey of Reggae rhythms from the Caribbean, peppered with supreme Jazz flavoured inflections and sensibilities.

Brown is widely regarded as the Premier Female Saxophonist in the UK, and her music is a wonderful mix of genres, touching on Jazz, Soul and Reggae. She is one of the most exciting in-demand live performers, and her debut album ''April Showers May Flowers'' peaked at No1 on the iTunes and Amazon Jazz Charts.

As well as performing across the world in her own right, YolanDa has toured as support for The Temptations, Errol Brown, Courtney Pine and Diana Krall and collaborated with artists such as Mica Paris, Julian Marley, Soweto Kinch and as part of Jools Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

Brown was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts by the University of East London and is a Celebrity Ambassador for HRH The Prince of Wales and His Prince's Trust.

Cavendish Welsh Choir Concert

The Ynysowen choir from Aberfan in Wales is again returning to Cavendish after performing very successful and enjoyable concerts in the village in past years. The large choir also includes soloists. The event is being organised by the Cavendish Community Council and all proceeds will be donated to the St Nicholas Hospice and local good causes.

This is a special concert of music inspired by Shakespeare's plays and given as part of Woodbridge Shakespeare 400, the town''s commemoration of Shakespeare's death in 1616.

The programme includes Weber Overture to Oberon, Walton 2 Pieces from Henry V, Sullivan 3 Dances from The Tempest, Mendelssohn Scherzo from Midsummer Night's Dream, Nicolai Merry Wives of Windsor Overture, Bellini Overture to I Capuleti e I Montecchi, Prokofiev selection from Romeo & Juliet Suite No.2. Popular Soprano Julie Roberts will be performing songs by Ambroise Thomas & Elgar Howarth. Leader Beth Spendlove and Conductor Elgar Howarth.

Opera in the Park - Culford School

This magical outdoor concert this year features highlights from Mozart's sublime opera The Magic Flute, as well as other opera favourites, all staged in Culford Hall's beautiful grounds and performed by the acclaimed London Festival Opera.

London Festival Opera£s artists have performed at Glyndebourne, the Royal Albert Hall and La Fenice in Venice, to name just a few. Their abridged version of The Magic Flute will bring this impressive, and sometimes comic opera, to opera lovers old and new.

Guests are invited to arrive from 5.00pm to enjoy a pre-ordered luxury picnic hamper (costing £45.00 for two people) or their own picnic. As evening approaches, the audience will be invited to turn to the stage in front of the Hall to enjoy a truly magnificent performance from 7.00pm. There will also a licensed bar and gourmet food stalls open during the afternoon and evening and for interval refreshments.
