The village of Polstead is set in the heart of Constable country and is only a few miles from the interesting, old market town of Hadleigh.
Polstead is also within easy reach of the Cross Channel Passenger Terminals of Harwich and Felixstowe.
An area of outstanding natural beauty, Polstead is the perfect centre for your exploration of some of the finest villages and towns in East Anglia.
Polstead Church dates back to 1160 and is only a short walk from the Lodge.
The village is famous for the Victorian murder of Maria Martin, "The Murder in the Red Barn." Polstead is a renowned cherry growing area and people come from far and wide to sample the "Polstead Black".
