Sweffling Hall Farm is set well back from the main Framlingham - Saxmundham Road, in a quiet location. We are a family run farm with free range chickens that produce eggs for supermarkets, and 300 acres of arable land.

We have two double rooms and a family room in the farmhouse bed and breakfast, plus a newly converted holiday cottage.

Our location is convenient for Framlingham Castle, Saxstead Mill and many towns on the Suffolk Coast. We are 9 miles away from Aldeburgh and Minsmere RSPB Bird Reserve. Perfect for walking and cycling holidays.

Holiday Cottage
Bramble Cottage has recently been converted from an old cart shed on the Farm. It fronts the outskirts of the farmyard for ease of access and parking, and has breathtaking views to the rear (see picture 2 taken from the terrace).

This brand new barn conversion has been sensitively converted to a holiday cottage. Residents are greeted with a solid oak stable door looking out to the cottage garden. Bramble Cottage boasts a large double bedroom and ground floor twin room, a large family bathroom with enamel bath and shower, a family lounge centred by a woodburning stove and a large open plan kitchen (see picture 3). To the rear the double patio doors lead out to a large decked area where you can enjoy alfresco dining or watch the sun go down over the fields and wooded river valley.

B&B on Sweffling Hall Farm
Throughout the year a warm and friendly welcome awaits old friends and new visitors at our 16th Century farmhouse. Looking over the farmyard and backing on to our natural meadow there is always something to stop and look at as you make your way around the house.

Our three rooms can take up to 8 guests who can all dine together in our dining room on the same table, or join together in our guests' drawing room for a board game or a couple of evening drinks. All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and are traditionally furnished with farmhouse furniture.

Room rates are all £50 per double room per night. The family room single beds are charged at an additional £15 per child per night (under 16).
