If you do decide to cook, your self-catering kitchen cupboards will have all the basic tools and pans you need. On top of the agreed hire price, you may be charged for electricity and gas, so do discuss all charges beforehand with the owners of the self-catering homes, and find out if there is anything you might need to bring along to create your own home-from-home – or indeed, your own style of Suffolk-inspired cuisine.
