Stay at The Angel Inn on our two-night dinner, bed and breakfast offer and indulge with a delicious, home cooked, 3-course dinner with us on the first night. On the second night you have the option to enjoy dinner at our new riverside gastro pub, The Anchor Inn, in nearby Nayland. We will provide return transport for you and you’ll also receive a complimentary drink on arrival. You’ll then enjoy a 2-course dinner overlooking the stunning River Stour before your carriage arrives to return you back to us for another great nights sleep and another mouth-watering breakfast the following morning.

Description
The Angel Inn is a traditional Suffolk pub which offers open fires, low ceilings and lots of original brickwork and oak beams. The Angel is the typical “Old English” quintessential country pub, with a layout that delivers intimacy and atmosphere coupled with a large open plan dining room and six beautifully styled boutique bedrooms, set in the heart of Constable country.
Rooms
The Angel has six boutique bedrooms, styled to reflect the history of this old coaching inn. They are perfect for an overnight stay, weekend break or longer holiday if you’re here to explore this stunning part of the Suffolk countryside.
All have en-suite bath or shower rooms, very comfortable beds, full tea and coffee making facilities, free WiFi, under floor heating, hairdryers, large flat screen TV with Freeview, and, of course, a wonderful full English or continental breakfast to start your day.
Restaurant
The Angel serves great food and light refreshments throughout the day, starting with breakfast and morning coffee, to lunch, afternoon tea, and then into the evening for supper. Our menus change regularly, reflecting whatever is in season. As a customer you can rely on our Head Chef to have sourced the best quality produce from local suppliers who respect the land they farm.
Breakfast
We are open for breakfast from 8-10am everyday and offer a variety of things to choose from for both residents and non-residents. Our (not so) 'Angelic' Full English Breakfast is just £7.95! Start your day with us at The Angel Inn!
Lunch
From light lunches to see you through the day, to a selection of delightful courses to enjoy into a lazy afternoon, our lunch menu has been carefully selected to offer genuine value and choice.
Dinner
Available either in our formal dining room or throughout the pub, we offer seasonally changing, contemporary menus of traditional British, modern European and classic French food, in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. We also have a carefully selected wine list, with over 35 bottles and up to 12 stunning wines available by the glass or 500ml carafes. We also offer a small list of extremely fine wines and champagnes if you really want to celebrate!
