The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary at Stonham Barns in Suffolk is the focal point of our organisation and provides a delightful place to watch, study or simply enjoy the company of Owls and other birds of prey.
There are over 80 raptors at the centre, all housed in spacious aviaries and flying free in narrated flying displays or demonstrations.
You will also find the Raptor Hospital, a pretty Woodland Walk with red squirrels, wildlife ponds, bug hotels and ladybird house and the new Meerkat Kastle. Picnic areas are provided and plenty of activities for children including a new play area with wheelchair accessible equipment. Braille information boards are a recent addition. There is also a new indoor interactive Discovery Centre plus a unique owlie Gift Shop.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is supported through admission charges and public donations for the upkeep of the centre, the welfare of the birds and the funding of our many education, conservation and rehabilitation projects. All monies collected are used only for this purpose.
