2010 DISTRIBUTION TO DATE (Sept 2010)
Take One Media - up to 26/8 Take One had distributed 83% of their total annual allocation, of which 40% went into Essex Accommodation; 22% Essex, London, Camb and Herts TICs; 21% London Rail and 18% London Community. There have been a few communication issues over the Summer with Take One so they have put the brochure into London Business as a goodwill gesture, and it will be interesting to see those take up figures when they eventually appear.
Leisure Target - have already distributed 89% of their allocation, with 95% of their deliveries going to South Essex, Colchester and Tendring. Their top performing outlets have been Tesco in Westcliff, Chelmsford Railway station, Tesco Clacton, Southend Victoria station and Tottenham Hale station.
The other 5% of their copies have gone around the Ipswich and Felixstowe area as we wanted to test take-up within Suffolk, which has been surpisingly good.
Thompson Media - polybagged the brochure with East Magazine in April and May and this was distributed through their normal outlets in East Anglia (mainly retail outlets) during the Spring.
Online - online visitors to www.suffolkbrochure.co.uk increased just under 5% year on year to over 4,000, who viewed an average of 8 pages. The brochure is linked to every page of the Suffolk Tourist Guide and the Suffolk Hotels Guide so it gets good exposure as these sites had over 940,000 page views in the 6 months between 1/3/10 and 30/8/10.

Some comments about the Suffolk Brochure
dear sarah,
lovely brochure and very useful....
Peter, Islington
Absolutely Brilliant
May I just offer my very warmest congratulations on the production of such an excellent Guide. It really must be among the best of its kind…the depth and breadth of information includes something for everyone, and the strong infusion of Suffolk’s unique identity makes the site a pleasure to browse. This adds an extra element to the anticipation of our holiday !

Dear Suffolk Tourist Guide
I like your online guide but I was disappointed there isn't more accommodation and eateries in Suffolk, particularly Aldeburgh in it. Please put some more in, especially self catering.
Thank you
