Suffolk Game and Country Fair

Held by kind permission of Major Hope-Cobbald at Little Glemham Hall, Suffolk Game and Country Fair on 13th and 14th June 2009 is a magnificant Country Fair with a beautiful backdrop of a great hall.

The Suffolk Game and Country Fair consists of a two day event showing all aspects of country life. There will be a main ring with events and displays going on for the two days from 10.00am. Items of interest include clay pigeon shooting, gun dog competitions, terrier show & racing, field archery, falconry, vintage machinery, vintage cars, stick show, bygones, craft marquees.
Family Fun Extends into the Evening!!
Enjoy a bigger taste of real country life at the annual Suffolk Game and Country Fair this year, with an extended evening programme of entertainment to add to two days packed with old-fashioned country fun at Glemham Hall, near Woodbridge.

New for 2009 is the evening musical entertainment on Saturday night complemented by a beer festival, with a recession-busting admission fee of only £5 for late entry to include the evening programme.
“We have added these extra events to the programme to offer something for everyone, and even those country folk who have to work for part of Saturday can still come along and enjoy the fair well into the Summer’s evening,” explained popular organiser, Malcolm Hall.

Also new for 2009 is the exciting new dog agility demonstrations which are sure to keep the crowds enthralled. Canine friends are welcomed throughout the two day show with gundog displays, terrier racing and a fun dog show.
In the large main arena, there will be a full programme of events to keep all the family entertained - marvel at the grace of the birds of prey as they swoop overhead or watch the dedication of the gundogs as they are put through their paces.
Gates open at 9am and adult entry is £8 full day or £5 half day (after 3pm), children under 11 go free. Glemham Hall is clearly signposted off the A12 at Little Glemham, approximately eight miles north of Woodbridge.
Little Glemham Hall is situated on the A12, approaching from Woodbridge (8 Miles). The entrance is just through the village on the right hand side. The area will be well signposted from all approaching roads
