Suffolk Holidays

Come to Suffolk for your holidays! There’s lots to see and do and Suffolk offers a wide range of facilities and
attractions, so there’s something for everyone from coast to country,
animals to visit and farms to stay in, as well as sophisticated
boutique hotels offering fantastic food, and everything inbetween!

First of all – why holiday in Suffolk? Whether you’re interested in a romantic short holiday break for two or a family holiday for several generations to enjoy, you will find that Suffolk can cater for your needs. An added bonus is that Suffolk is very close to London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, making it very easy to get to.

In terms of
activities there’s a lot on offer. Given our agricultural heritage we have a lot of spectacular countryside to roam about on
foot, by
bike or by
horse if you prefer!
RSPB Minsmere is the RSPB’s largest UK reserve, and much of Suffolk is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. So you can enjoy a ‘back to nature’ Suffolk holiday if that takes your fancy.

We have a rich history based on agriculture, the woollen industry and sea trade, and you can even see at
Sutton Hoo one of Britains most important and atmospheric archaeological sites. So you can take a holiday in Suffolk knowing that any history buffs in the family will be well catered for!

We also have historic market towns like
Halesworth and
Sudbury; medieval towns and villages like
Lavenham and
Long Melford; coastal towns like
Aldeburgh and
Southwold; fun loving towns like
Lowestoft and
Felixstowe offering some great amusements! So if you want to splash about on the beach, play bingo or enjoy a market day in one of our market towns.
