Suffolk features a variety of pubs which are fully accessible to those with disabilities. They serve great food, many feature a large selection of real ales, and all are a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. The White Horse at Tattingstone is a listed building, and therefore has limited access, however, the toilets are equipped for disabled people, and an outdoor garden is available and accessible.

The King's Head Inn in Orford features a wheelchair accessible pub, however, the bedrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The King's Head Inn serves good, genuinely home-made food for lunch and supper, and you can wash it down with a pint of Adnams Bitter, Broadside, Draught Guinness or Stella Artois. Situated in the centre of Orford on the lovely Suffolk coast, it is open every day of the year and parking is free. A perfect place to visit before or after a trip to Orford Castle.

The Cock Inn in Polstead features a large beer garden in addition to their great indoor pub setting, both of which feature full disabled access. They also offer a full a la carte menu, with an emphasis on local suppliers and produce whenver possible.

The George and Dragon in Long Melford is a great East Anglian Inn. Featuring full access for the disabled, this premier Inn stands square in the centre of England's longest village street. Amid antique shops, art galleries, restaurants, taverns, stately homes and all those stores that make Long Melford self-sufficient, The George and Dragon is a true village Inn.

The Ship Inn in Woodbridge does have areas which are wheelchair accessible, however, there is no wheelchair access in the toilets. The Ship Inn features a great selection of food, as well as an extended selection of Real Ales – with 6 different varieties on at any one time including local speciality, Adnams.

The Fox and Goose Inn in Fressingfield is currently renovating to include disabled access, however, work is not yet complete, so please contact them by clicking on the link above before setting out to check out the status of the accessibility.
