The Sutton Plough

Nestled in the village of Sutton this charming 18th century inn has been given a brand new lease of life. Completely refurbished over the last year The Plough Inn offers a very warm welcome to old and new customers alike. Only a few minutes drive on from Sutton Hoo we are very much a country pub and well worth that extra few minutes drive!

The pub has a fresh new ambience and customers are welcome to relax with their drinks in the bar area or on a sunny day sit on the flower covered patio. There is a large beer garden too with views over the Suffolk countryside and an area for children to play.

The Plough offers relaxed dining at either lunch or dinner. The carefully chosen menu changes with the seasons and reflects what is great about Suffolk and East Anglian produce. The menu is deliberately selective offering a good choice of classic pub food. Food is cooked to order and made at the pub so you can be sure it is fresh, seasonal and homemade by our chefs. We were recently awarded GOOD on the Scores on the Door for Food hygiene & cleanliness.

We are open from 12-3 and 6-9 for food, except Sundays when our delicious roast beef (plus other choices) can be enjoyed from 12 – 4.

Open all day on Fridays and Saturdays enjoy our cask ales, local Aspall cyder and interesting wines. We have a wide range of soft drinks available too and a selection of coffees and tea.
