The Blue Boar Inn

This Village pub is set in the middle of the picturesque Walsham-le-Willows, and has new landlords who have recently refurbished this ancient village Inn (origins C1360). Lynne and David Kelly welcome new and existing customers to enjoy great ales, great food and great company. The relaxed atmosphere is pleasant for families, children, dogs and their owners, and all are welcome.

The pub has a public bar, games area, a large garden room for dining with 50 covers, or as a function room. Also there is a large secure beer garden with a children’s play area. We have a large permanent Marquee for events, parties or weddings which can be hired for private parties for a very reasonable rate, or free if you use our services.

The pub is open Mondays (except Bank Holidays when open from 12am) from 5pm until late, Tuesdays 12am to 2.30pm light snacks and sandwiches, Wednesday and Thursdays 12am to 2.30pm and 5pm until late, Fridays and Saturday from 12am until late. Sundays 12am to 4pm

By the way, the happy hour operates Mondays to Thursdays 5pm to 6pm. If you’re bored or feeling blue, visit this ancient rural pub and enjoy a happy hour; you are assured of a welcome!

Dining Room
With a newly refurbished kitchen, food is served lunchtimes and evenings with emphasis on locally sourced fresh ingredients, Sunday roasts or carvery and a menu that changes according to the seasons.
Food is served Tuesdays to Sundays 12am to 2pm and evenings 6.30 to 9pm.

The pub serves real ale with a variety on offer ranging from Old Speckled Hen to Woodforde’s Wherry and Adnams. There is a range of wines from the house specials to the finest connoisseurs’ choice.
