You will learn about the ancient crafts of printmaking and ceramics in a joint delivery format.
You will learn Linocutting techniques to create and produce some contemporary images on both card and wall tiles, to decorate your home.

Course runs from 5/5 - 19/05. Learn how to use Linocutting techniques to create your own unique Greetings Cards which friends family will cherish on this short but very hands on printmaking course.This is a popular weekend course where you learn a lot and create up to ten cards, so we advise prompt booking. However, the same course is also available during the week and starts on Thursday 3rd May. Price includes all materials and light refreshments.

From 5th May - 9th June. This course is a practical and hands on way to learn this exciting Linocutting method of producing multi-colour images. You will cover everything from designing your piece to colour mixing and printing your own work. People say we are "fun tutors" and that what we show them is "awesome" so come and see for yourself!

The Dragons are coming to Ipswich
Fresh Start new beginnings is launching The Fresh Start Charity Dragon Boat Challenge which will take place on Saturday 2nd June at Ipswich Waterfront.
Businesses, clubs and groups can take part in The Charity Dragon Boat challenge. It's open to 21 teams on a first come first served basis. Each team, or crew, will be made up of 10 paddlers plus a drummer. Squads may be larger up to 15 people the crew will race a minimum of three races. Registration for the event is £30 per person, then it's hoped that each team will raise around £500 in sponsorship. 10 teams raising £500 will help Fresh Start new beginnings work with two of the children on their waiting list. 20 teams would make that 4 children.

Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Join the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with the Ipswich Hospital Charity. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24-miles long, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent. This is one of the classic mountain challenges in the UK.

Join the Hospital Hero team travel, stay and walk together on this weekend adventure! With travel, food and accommodation included you just need to worry about packing some good walking boots and training for the climbs!

Do something amazing to help your local hospital!
