Our quiz night is back! This time we are taking a trip across the pond, our American themed quiz will take place on Independence Day, Tuesday 4th July at The Courtyard Restaurant in aid of The Ipswich Hospital Charity.

In this fun filled evening of quiz questions, audio clips and musical rounds guests will also be treated to American Diner inspired food, you can also bring your own nibbles and alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy at your table. What a great way to spend an evening with friends and colleagues!

There will be a prize for the winning Quiz team and a chance to buy raffle tickets on the night to win other fantastic prizes.

IAA Lunchtime Lecture - Otley Hall: Past, Present and Future

Otley Hall is a stunning 15th/16th century moated Hall, set in 10 acres of beautiful gardens in the tranquil Suffolk countryside. The Reverend Catherine Beaumont and her family have lived at Otley Hall since 2004. In her illustrated talk she tells the story of the Hall and its gardens, including the story of Bartholomew Gosnold and his voyages to the USA. She discusses the opening of the Hall and gardens to the public, and describes the joys and pressures of being stewards of this beautiful Grade 1 listed home.


Admission is free with a retiring collection to defray expenses. Donations of at least £2.00 per head are valued to maintain the series.

Suffolk Young Strings (SYS) will take you on a journey through time as they perform a variety of music from the 16th - 20th centuries. Enjoy Susato ''Renaissance Dances'', Vivaldi ''Four Seasons'', Mozart ''Minuet'', Faure ''Pavane'', Piazzolla ''Two Tangos'', and more!
Aged between 12-16 years old, the talented members of SYS enjoy performing a range of repertoire for string orchestra and chamber ensemble. SYS is part of Suffolk County Music Service's County Ensemble programme for Suffolk's most able, gifted, and talented young musicians.
