Belonging(s)
3.00pm and 6.00pm
Jerwood DanceHouse
BELONGING(s) is the latest outdoor show by Tilted Productions, combining contemporary dance, physical theatre and an unusual use of objects. Created by renowned director/ choreographer, Maresa von Stockert, the performance provokes thoughts on the notion of belonging and the fleeting nature of what surrounds us.

Belonging(s) unfolds in three main scenes, set in three different Ipswich waterfront locations. The piece will feature an outstanding cast of 7 performers, ranging in age from under 25 to over 60. As audiences walk between the main scenes they will come across pop up performances involving members of the local community. It will be shown for the first time in the UK, and only in Ipswich this summer, before touring nationally and internationally in 2016. The piece has been supported by leading European arts organisations, Arts Council England and Ipswich Borough Council.
