ALBERT MAKE US LAUGH - A Two Rivers Theatre Company Production
Doors open 7.00pm, curtain up at 7.45pm
Sir John Mills Theatre, Gatacre Road, Ipswich, IP1 2LQ

Join Two Rivers Theatre Company in this engaging and touching production written to be enacted entirely by adults - which will take you on a roller coaster of emotions through both tears of laughter, joy and a little sadness as we follow Albert from his first day at his new school aged eleven, through to adulthood on an unforgettably uplifting journey of twists and turns.

Everyone remembers their first day at a new school don't they? For some it's tougher than others. Meet Albert Nuttall. Some would say Albert is "backward", and at first glance you might agree but Albert is special. He is a poet and a visionary who, through his school life, inspires unexpected depths of emotion in other people, notably his classmate Primrose, whose glorious future as an actress fails to materialise, and the lost and lonely young schoolteacher, Janet Partington.

Contains adult themes and occasional strong language.

This is an amateur production by kind permission of Samuel French.

Two Rivers are proud to be supporting Iceni by donating a portion of overall ticket sale revenue for this production. Iceni is a charity that supports families in Ipswich and Suffolk and provides children with the opportunity to have a safe, healthy and happy start in life. Charity no:1146684. Visit www.iceniipswich.org for more details.
Ticket Prices: Adults £9.00, Concessions £8.00

Charity QUIZ Night (one of the biggest & best in Ipswich)
7pm
Greshams Sports and Social Club, 312 Tuddenham Road, Ipswich, IP4 3QJ
Regarded as one of Ipswich's biggest quiz events, THCC's Charity Quiz Night is back this May!

We'll be raising vital funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and your support is needed to make our eleventh trivia fundraiser a fantastic night. Together we have managed to raise more than £14,800 from previous quiz nights!

Teams for the quiz can include between 4 - 6 members and entry is £4.00pp (nibbles included). There will be cash prizes to be won for the top 5 teams, as well as a giant prize draw for which donations from local companies would be very much welcomed. (See below for donation/sponsor details).

Karen Finch, (HCC Managing Director) said £Our quizzes are becoming more and more popular every time we have one. Put simply, they are a great night out with friends and family, for not a lot of money, and what£s even better is that it's all for charity.

We have set ourselves a target of £10,000 to raise in 2016, so we are able to sponsor our very own Hearing Dog puppy and follow its journey through to being placed with a deaf recipient.

To purchase tickets call us on 01473 230330 or email info@hearingcarecentre.co.uk
