Essex based Barry Andrews recent oil paintings are of the landscapes and estuaries of his home county. Francis Jeans is from Cambridge, showing a variety of work including landscape, still life and city scenes. Both artists have a strong following having held many exhibitions at the gallery.

IAA Lunchtime Lecture - Remembering the Battle of Arras 1917

A talk by Andrew Beal. The Battle of Arras (9 April to 16 June 1917) cost the lives of nearly 160,000 British and Commonwealth soldiers, as well as over 125,000 German casualties. Andrew Beal examines the tactics, the battle and the story of over 80 Ipswich men who lost their lives and are remembered on the Arras Memorial in France.

Admission is free with a retiring collection to defray expenses. Donations of at least £2.00 per head are valued to maintain the series. Tea and coffee are served from 12.30pm.

2017 is the centenary of the Russian Revolution and St Peters Band is marking this historical event with a concert of famous Russian classics and other music about Russia. We have a varied programme including influences from the cold war, global communism, Broadway's idea of Russian peasant life, and not forgetting a Eurodisco hit. We are also very pleased to have special guests including Ukranian pianist Eleonora Ivanovna Bulatova. So come along and support us and our chosen charity - Citizen's Advice Ipswich.
