Welcome to The Ship Inn, Blaxhall.

We are a traditional country pub with detached accommodation in the beautiful village of Blaxhall, just 2 miles from Snape and 6 miles from the coast at Aldeburgh. We offer a real taste of the country with fine homemade food and Real Ales served between our two interconnecting dining areas. Alongside the inn, we offer high quality chalet accommodation with the promise of a real English breakfast.

FOOD
The Ship Inn’s restaurant serves only the highest quality home-cooked food. Written on the menu blackboards, you will find a whole range of country favourites. All of which are cooked using the best local ingredients and locally produced meats. Sprinkled throughout the selection there is also a number of globally-inspired specials and a fine selection of seafood (usually including fish, crab and prawns) brought directly from the fishing boats at nearby Lowestoft.

To accompany our selection of food, we serve an extended selection of Real Ales – with 6 different varieties on at any one time including local speciality, Adnams. We also have an excellent wine list and all the other choices you would expect.

During summer, food can be served outside in the sun as well as in our two interconnecting indoor dining rooms.

BED AND BREAKFAST
The Ship Inn offers good quality accommodation in four detached twin-bed chalets with a further four double-bed chalets planned for construction this year.

Each private chalet boasts an ensuite shower room, TV, small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Families are most welcome and there is space in each chalet for additional beds if they are required. Every morning, a generous full English breakfast is served in the pub’s dining area.
