Saturday, 12th May - Grand Opening of the Flying Goose Cafe, with free, live entertainment from 11 am to 2 pm: music from the Forties and Fifties with Miss Luna Nightingale and Miss Jodie Harris.
Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens offers a refreshing and relaxing approach to buying antiques, collectables and gifts. We have a light and airy display area of over 5,000 sq ft with quality antique and 20th century furniture, clocks, jewellery, bygones and collectables of all types, silver, ceramics, textiles, soft furnishings and vintage clothing, as well as a wide range of secondhand books, antique tools and garden ornaments. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to help in any way.
The width of the aisles in the Centre makes browsing accessible and enjoyable for wheelchair users; our toilet facilities are disabled-friendly, and there are disabled parking areas just by the front door.
New to the Centre are our colourful Arts and Crafts Beach Huts. Here you will find ceramics from Reet Gilday, original paintings from Jenny Somerville, unique designs from Simon Turner of Twelve Furniture, hand-turned wood pieces from Bill Care, a wonderful dolls public house from Peter Brown, and many more decorative and functional items.
While you are here, visit our newly opened Flying Goose Cafe, open 10.30 am to 4.30 pm (3.30 pm on Sunday when the Centre closes at 4 pm). Make your choice from delicious coffees, Italian hot chocolate and teas, with home-made cakes and biscuits; or perhaps a bowl of home-made soup, a slice of quiche, or a popular bacon bap!
There is ample free parking in front of the Centre. While you're here, take a walk or, when the sun shines, sit a while in our 5 acres of gardens and meadows, which are freely open to visitors. Say hello to Humphrey, Larry and Charlie Brown, our alpacas!
