IAA Lunchtime Concert - The Wednesday Men

The Wednesday Men were formed by the late Vic Lowne in 2011. Vic was the driving force behind the current use of St. Peter's by the Waterfront. He sadly died in August 2013 and since then the band has raised over £5,000 for the St. Elizabeth Hospice. The band consists of bass Doug Newton, guitar Keith Robinson, vocals Jenny Robinson, drums Dominique Gloaguen, keyboards Chris Westren, saxophones and clarinet Bernard Westren. Their repertoire consists predominantly of jazz standards, but they also play popular songs, the occasional penny whistle tune and some Jewish Klezmer on the clarinet! Tea and coffee are served from 12.30pm.

Admission is free with a retiring collection to defray expenses. Donations of at least £2.00 per head are valued to maintain the series.

A local craft fair where local people sell their handmade items. A variety of beautiful goods are available with prices starting at £1.50. Handmade cards, cakes, quilts, fabric goods, wood ware, jewellery and many other items are on display and crafters like nothing more than to talk about their skills and how their goods are made.
You can even sit down and have a cup of tea or coffee with a slice of homemade cake or new for this year bacon sandwiches!!
East Anglia Children's Hospice will be having a fund raising stall this month so come down and support this very valuable service.
