Mollett’s Farm is the ideal place to explore and learn more about the Suffolk Heritage Coast, and offers quaint cottages and self-catering studios for those who prefer more comfortable lodging.

The White House Beach Caravan Club Site has a pitch for every preference, with sites next to the shrubs and willow on one end and the stunning beach on the other. The early summer months boast rainbow-coloured wildflowers, such as the Yellow Poppy, making this a great holiday destination for lovers of nature.

Note that the pitches on the beachside cannot be booked in advance. Visitors must arrive on or after noon but no later than eight pm at night.

Carlton Meres Holiday Resort

Park Holidays’ Carlton Meres resort is another Suffolk holiday site that is situated inland and has many wonderful things to offer if having direct beach access is not your main priority. While it is not located directly on the coast, you can get to the ocean in about 20 minutes by car, and some of the more expensive camping pitches overlook a lake.

There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a restaurant, an amusement arcade, a gym, fishing opportunities, and evening entertainment on-site. Each swimming pool is simple and quiet, offering a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle.

The less expensive accommodations consist of two or three-room mobile homes. If you’re not travelling on a budget, you may choose from two-room holiday homes, which are considerably more spacious and serve as the ideal location for short breaks to the great outdoors.

Park Holidays, a large chain with around forty family-friendly vacation spots in Southern and Eastern England, operates Broadland Sands Family Holiday Park.

Broadland Sands is unlike other popular holiday destinations in that it perfectly combines the excitement of family fun in a holiday park with the peace and silence of the coast of Lowestoft. Most review sites award it a solid score of 4/5, and it includes a large indoor swimming pool with a flume, minigolf course, a playground, tennis courts, food establishments, and many other outdoor sports.
