The King’s Head is a traditional English village inn, nestled on the beautiful Suffolk coastline. We have a range of great Adnams Ales including Broadside and Ghost Ship, with a guest ale periodically, a full and varied wine list and a selection of Adnams and other spirits.

FOOD
Our lunch and dinner menus consist of a variety of “Pub Classics” with our “Specials Menu” changing daily.

SUNDAY LUNCH is a firm favourite serving, pork, beef or lamb on a rotating basis with all of the trimmings, booking is highly recommended.

LIGHTER BITES Include Pinney’s whole smoked mackerel salad and fishcakes with homemade sweet chilli sauce, we also have a range of specials that change on a daily basis.

FISH SPECIALS The majority of our fish is seasonal and locally sourced, either from Orford or Aldeburgh and fish specials could include sole, cod caught that morning or lovely local lobster.

MAIN COURSES The Pub Classics include cod & chips, local bangers & mash and home baked ham, egg & chips or our own recipe homemade burger. We offer a “virtuous” chilli which is both gluten free and vegetarian.

DESSERTS Our desserts are either sourced from Parravani’s or home made and range from Sticky Toffee Pudding to Lemon Roulade, we have a variety of ice creams and sorbets and offer a couple of gluten free options as well.

ACCOMMODATION
Why not stay in one of our spacious rooms while you explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside?

All rooms are good sized, unpretentious pub rooms with en suite facilities. We have a ground floor bedroom with a separate lounge which has a double sofa bed so could be used as a family room. It also has direct outside access so makes a very dog friendly place to stay also.
