Refreshments and food will be available on the day.

Saturday 11 November - Christmas Ceramic Open Studio and Clay Workshops, Kenton

Enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie while you browse Emma's ceramic studio.
Ceramic Art, Home and Giftware, Stationery and Christmas Decorations.

With over 40 stalls, this event will offer shoppers a wonderful choice of beautifully designed and handcrafted gifts for Christmas. Makers will be showcasing the latest in contemporary and vintage inspired handmade items, including jewellery, clothes, bags, pottery, soaps, cards, soft furnishings, home & garden-wares and much more. Norah runs a range of workshops and classes from her Coggeshall studio, including City & Guilds courses. Join us for the Beccles Christmas Light Switch On. This event is one of the best in the area, and it's going to be another fantastic year. The fun begins with the lights being switched on at 6pm by the cast from Beccles Panto Robin Hood, along with The Mayor and Heart Radio. There will be live entertainment acts on the main stage along with street entertainment provided by the ever popular Suffolk School of Samba plus a few surprises! There is always a great variety of stalls selling festive gifts, crafts, toys and decorations alongside wonderful street food and drink including of course mulled wine! Our fantastic range of independent shops, which is our pride and joy, will be open late on the night too. There is even live Reindeer and Father Christmas will be taking up his usual residence in his grotto. And as if this isn't enough the popular Beccles Christmas Tree Trail will be launched on the night (running through until December 23rd) and Hungate Church will be staging its ever popular three day Christmas Tree Festival. The Clare Christmas Fair presents the perfect opportunity for you to do some of your Xmas shopping in the centre of town without having to travel elsewhere.
Brought to you by the Clare Community Association, this quality event was a great success last year and this year will again showcase a selection of gifts, decorations, crafts and Christmas produce all in the atmospheric candlelit surroundings of the church.
You will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of something warming to enjoy while you browse the stalls, which will offer a variety of lovely goods including jewellery, chocolates, cheeses, dolls, collectable teddies, ceramics, turned wooden items, artwork, Christmas wreaths, candles, felted gifts, toys, cards, decorative and stained glass and much, much more. PLUS the chance to buy one or two! items from the delicious Clare festive pudding range which now includes luxury chocolate and sticky toffee sauces.
Other refreshments will be available and you will be able to sit, relax and listen to some carols.
There will also be the opportunity to buy some raffle tickets: great prizes and all proceeds will go to help maintain our lovely church.
The fair will be open from 5-8pm on Friday 24th November and from 10am-4pm on Saturday 25th and admission is free this truly is a wonderful start to the holiday season!

The Halesworth Women in Business Group present their first Christmas Fair. All stallholders are members of the group, live in Halesworth or the surrounding area and run their own businesses. The bar will be open from 10am and food is served all day. We have over 25 stalls, a raffle with all proceeds going to a local charity, a kiddies craft table, large free car park.
