There is a table, four chairs, and a charcoal barbecue on the east-facing patio, which is next to the living room door and has a view of the water. There are a couple of steps that lead you to the rest of the garden, which is raised and therefore allows you to see the marshes; the lawn is mostly decorated with vegetable plots and flower beds, with a hedge shielding you from the road.
There is a path that runs down the side of the house to the patio and another that runs down the other side to the bedroom window, providing access to the bedroom. If you want to park at the castle, you may do so for a modest fee.

There have been a number of occasions when the men’s tour of Britain and the Woman’s Tour visited the area, and it is also a fantastic location for cycling. Tunstall Forest offers an interesting off-road bike ride through the trees, while Rendlesham Forest provides a less technical route.
It’s different staying on a working farm than at a Farm Park, where there are many visitors, and the environment is always clean and well-suited for young children.
