The popular Kingfisher orchestra comes to Framlingham again with a superb programme of music. Mozart’s ever-popular Eine Kleine Nachtmusik & Haydn Sinfonia Concertante in B flat for violin, cello, oboe & bassoon. Hear Beethoven’s beautiful Romance no.2 for Violin & Orchestra and Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony no.4. A true feast of wonderful music!

School Choirs Lunchtime Concert

This year St John’s School has three choirs and an orchestra with 38 members. Led by Danielle Freestone, today, the KS2 choirs share some current favourite songs from their repertoire, interspersed with instrumental items. Rushmere Hall is a large primary school in Ipswich. The choir is made up of about 40 years 5 and 6 children. Led by Liz Jones, they perform a variety of African songs.

Admission is free with a retiring collection to defray expenses. Donations of at least £2.00 per head are valued to maintain the series. Tea and coffee are served from 12.30 pm.

A beautifully expressive and dramatic oratorio for Good Friday by JS Bach, featuring a young professional soloist and conducted by Geoff Lavery.
Classic Chamber Orchestra is comprised of the finest musicians in East Anglia.
Soloists: Sarah Rebecca Gallop (soprano), Chloe Pardoe (mezzo), Micheal Collins (Christ), Michael Collins (Evangelist) and Brian Latchem (Pilate).
