Vivaldi’s Four Seasons

When: 23 September 2022 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Where: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Cornhill, Bury Saint Edmunds

It is a pleasure for Baroque Eboracum to play Vivaldi’s masterpiece The Four Seasons in Bury St Edmunds. The melody takes the audience on a trip through the four seasons, from spring to winter, as birds sing in autumn, a thunderstorm rages in summer, and we celebrate the harvest festival in winter. The programme includes Vivaldi’s 18th-century arrangement for recorder, harpsichord, and cello. This is a demanding piece and, at times, requires two recorders to play simultaneously.
