Horse Riding in Suffolk

The agricultural industry has been kept alive in Suffolk, where you’ll find many stables. However, health and safety regulations have caused many of these facilities to only offer limited services to the public. Despite these regulations, you will still be able to hire a charming pony or horse for a reasonable price throughout the county.

Younger riders may be having their very first horseback riding lesson, and a miniature Shetland will be the perfect match for them. There is no greater gift you could give your kids than introducing them to the exciting hobby of horse riding. Many of the stables in the list below offer camps during the school holidays and pony clubs to join, so it is worth reaching out to them and finding out more.

Established by Megan Ayton-Andrews back in 2002, Hill Farm Equestrian Centre in Hill Farm Lane (Chelmondiston, Suffolk, IP9 1JU) is a praised training centre where family and friendly hospitality comes first. Qualified instructors from the British Horse Society teach the riding lessons with sensible and well-trained ponies and horses. The centre boasts fifteen ponies and horses that are trained regularly to keep them in the best condition they can be.
Hill Farm is a relatively small centre with impressive features, like a 20 x 40 outdoor arena, fifteen stables all set in a gated brickyard, and a heated classroom.
Hill farm primarily welcomes children between the ages of four and sixteen. Check out some of their wonderful activities on their website at http://www.hillfarmec.co.uk/ or contact them at:
