The Croft Campsite is a small, family-owned campsite situated in the picturesque Suffolk countryside, between Halesworth and Framlingham in a charming village called Ubbeston. The Croft is the perfect spot to enjoy a unique and interesting vacation and welcomes motorhomes, tents, and campervans. Visitors can make use of the indoor picnic tables and fun outdoor playground, among many other fantastic facilities. When you get to Croft Campsite, you will find a welcoming environment. The friendly owners value having a good time on vacation, whether for a couple of weeks or a weekend and want you to experience that as well. There are 45 level pitches, separated by a hedge barrier of trees and plants. There are 14 electric hookups, one electricity pod, and one prefabricated tent for hire. Your children can play football, fly kites, and roam around freely in a designated field. There are also plenty of spots for games both indoors and out.
The impressive shower block provides you with hot showers and underfloor heating to keep you toasty. When the weather isn’t going your way, the site offers a cart lodge that has picnic tables, freezers, and fridges and a casual barn area where you can play a round of tables football, table tennis, pedal go-karts, and various games and toys for the younger guests. Tea and coffee-making facilities, seating, leaflets, and slush for the children are all available for free at the reception area. Charging stations for devices are also available. A wooden trail and a traverse wall are available. Dogs are free to run around an enclosed paddock. Guests can join the weekly BBQ on Friday nights and indulge in a lovely breakfast on Sunday mornings for a small fee.
Cakes and Ale is a family-owned holiday park on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The park is maintained very carefully, and the airfield’s history as an American air base during World War II is retained in its layout. The park’s organic, the natural layout is dictated largely by the WWII-era US air base roads that remain, resulting in just ten pitches per acre (rather than the maximum-allowed 40 pitches per acre in many other parks). A campground with 55 serviced sites, all with grass and hardstanding, a 10 amp electric, water, and wastewater connection, and wide tarmac roads adjacent to car parking is available for touring. Pitches surround the outside of the field, leaving a large grass field in the middle, where dogs are welcome to roam.
Polstead, a picturesque village, is situated less than a mile from the Polstead Camping and Caravanning Club Site. Polstead’s rural club site is well maintained and wonderfully arranged and sits on the edge of a conservation area.
There are 60 pitches in total, distributed across four small fields. All the pitches on both grass and hardstanding have either 10 or 16 amp electric hook-ups and convey a feeling of seclusion.
All the facilities are of high quality and include accessible bathrooms, parent and baby rooms, and family shower rooms. There is also a washing-up area, laundry facilities, a shop, and a play area for children. Free WiFi is provided, and the site is near The Cock Inn, a local pub that has excellent food and a picturesque setting.

Five-metre-wide bell tents are provided, with hotel-standard king-size beds and single futon mattresses for the kids. Wood burners and firepits are provided inside and outside of each tent, respectively.
Guests at Manor Farm Knodishall can experience the ultimate outdoor luxury. Every bell tent has its own bathroom and kitchenette within a converted stable block a stone’s throw away from the tent. Any time of day, guests can get hot showers, flushing toilets, and electricity. The owners strive to provide ‘little extras’ to enhance your stay, and they hope you like the quality bathrobes, cotton bed linens, fluffy towels, and hair dryers.

If you would like to stay in a particular area, please express your desire at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate you if possible.
Feel free to make a cosy campfire in one of the many firepits. We sell firewood, but you are also more than welcome to bring your own. You can bring your dogs along on your camping adventure, where they will have plenty of space to roam in the forest, fields, and heathland near the campsite. We ask that you keep your dogs on a leash due to the presence of sheep, free-range chickens, and other livestock on the premise.
We boast a lovely cafe and a pizzeria on the premise where guests can indulge in a delicious meal after a day of exploring all the exciting attractions in Suffolk. Our glamping bell tent is located in our wooded paradise, which looks upon the old church’s glebe land and village playground. You may enjoy the comfort of our unique glamping experience.
