We are a small family-owned site, and we welcome all visitors with motorhomes, tents, caravans, and campervans. Children and dogs on leashes are welcome here.

The campsite is set in the quaint village of Ubbeston. Centuries ago, the Vikings were believed to have sailed up the River Blyth to this site, which is why the village sign features a Viking ship. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing walk beside the River Blyth, which is now more of a stream than a river, all the way to Laxfield, which is home to two charming pubs, A fascinating museum, a Co-op, and a Post Office. Ubbeston is ideally located between Framlingham and Halesworth and offers easy access to the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast and tranquil rivers in the heart of the countryside.

When you get here, you can pick up a brochure about the camp and a welcome card. Our campsites are level and well marked. We do allow group bookings to be sited together at busy times. We have free tea and coffee-making facilities—especially beneficial after a long journey, when your kettle is deeply hidden in your car, or when you are in desperate need of a cup of coffee and the camping stove is taking its time.

We don’t have an official store, but we do have a range of items that can make life easier—for example, batteries, flashlights, gas, toothbrushes, and so on. Marshmallows are also available, so you can enjoy the full pleasure of your campfire!

We offer state-of-the-art toilet and shower facilities with underfloor heating and adjustable shower temperatures. You won’t have to worry about running out of hot water. Above all, we take great pleasure in keeping our facilities clean and well maintained. The washing-up room has two large sinks with drainer plates on either side. In addition to a washing machine and dryer, washing and drying are available for £3.00 each.

Our Barn is an excellent choice for a rainy day (or for when it gets really hot like it did last summer). We have a few table football games, three table tennis tables, Brio train sets, Duplo, and a wide variety of ride-on toys for kids of all ages.

Outside, you’ll find a wooden tractor, a wooden trail, swings, and a massive field to enjoy. You can keep your food fresh in the fridges and freezers of the Cart Lodge, and on Friday nights, everyone can join us for a delicious BBQ we prepare.
