Come and join us to reframe Bury St Edmunds as part of our new R&D project, where three teams of artists have been working with arts and technology. Explore the newly opened and named 'Pigeon Parade' (WH Smiths/The Works on Cornhill) and meet the new residents who have taken roost here...Discover brand new stories about identity and self image from the students from West Suffolk College who will be performing around the town, in pieces written from their words by local writer James McDermott, and check out the screens in Hughes and the old Palmer's store windows and meet 'TEO' who will allow you to reframe your own selfie.

The Return of Dragon Fest at West Stow!

Celebrating all things dragon - from folklore to dinosaurs - at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village.

This June, Dragon Fest returns, and Epico the Dragon is back by popular demand.

The fantastically friendly dragon will be appearing on both days, plus there's plenty more fun family entertainment, including:
- Fire breathing displays
- The Beowulf and Grendel Puppet Theatre, with gruesome tales for all ages
- Wulfingas re-enactment group tell exciting tales from the Arthurian Legend

Fun family activities to have a go at include:
- Giant Bubbles
- Dragon Nest building
- Face painting*
- Archery*
- Children£s craft workshops*
- LEGO building zone.

You can even experience relaxing holistic treatments, or have an adventure around the Country Park on the Beowulf and Grendel Trail!

A great range of food and drink will be available throughout the day and stalls selling dragon-themed accessories, collectables and merchandise.

Music-lovers can look forward to a great day out this summer, as the 4th Bury St Edmunds Folk Festival once again brings its own brand of magic to the town.
The one-day event will be on Saturday 30th June 2018 in the walled garden at Nowton Park, a delightful place to relax and enjoy high-quality live music. With craft stalls, children's activities, music workshops, hot food and a bar with local real ales, this promises to be a wonderful day for the whole family.
Full disabled access to site, reserved viewing area and toilet facilities
