What's On in Woodbridge September 2014
Thursday 11 September to Sunday 28 SeptemberRagnarok by Eastern Angles
Join us for this fantastic tale of the Northern Gods and Giants whose stories helped shape this region.
As Odin prepares to sacrifice his eye for wisdom, Thor wields his magical hammer and rapscallion Loki and his monstrous wolf shape-shift their way out of mischief, their whole world approaches a precipice. Who can save them… Christ-like Baldr, seductive Freya or the innocent Idun whose apples preserve their youth?
Once again there will be refreshment stalls and picnic areas where you can soak up the extraordinary atmosphere of the Hush House on the former Bentwaters airfield.
Tickets can be brought online at www.easternangles.co.uk or from our Box Office at Sir John Mills Theatre which is open Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm and can be contacted on 01473 211498.

Saturday 13 SeptemberThe Woodbridge Vintage, Retro & Modern Market
9.30am to 4pm
Shire Hall and Market Hill, Woodbridge
Over 50 vintage and retro traders and local artisans will be taking part in the event, selling a huge range of unique pieces for the home, furniture, artworks, ceramics, fashion and jewellery. There will also be locally made crafts and homewares.
The market is continuing to grow its local food and drink section, with a dedicated space that will include a pop-up restaurant area where visitors can sample some al fresco eating. Food will range from wood-fired pizza and deli-style snacks, to cakes, fudge and coffee.
Tim Clover of Deben Events, organisers of the market, said, “We want the market to be a really relaxed and social shopping experience where you can meet up with friends, share a coffee and find unusual things that you can’t get anywhere else. The Market Hill in Woodbridge is the perfect setting for relaxing and shopping on a Saturday in Suffolk.”
